Pastor John Rajiah
Pastor John RAJIAH, from India, is a man of God being greatly used in the Body of Christ. He was raised in the church in South India. Had a stuttering malady from birth. At age eight he asked Jesus to come into his life and from that time forward began to dream of serving God.
When fourteen, Jesus appeared and said He was healing him for a purpose. It was then John knew he would someday touch many people through a unique healing ministry.
When he was eighteen God called him to be an evangelist. He attended the Bible College of Wales in England for three years. John was already preaching the Gospel in many places in India and Europe.
Pastor John Rajiah is the Founder and President of ETERNAL WORD MINISTRIES which is reaching out and touching thousands of people across Asia with the precious Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. To date 305 churches have been established through the results of the crusades. This ministry also runs orphanages caring for over 760 children.
ETERNAL WORD MINISTRIES has a motto of “reaching out to a hurting world” and with this vision God has used Pastor John Rajiah both at home and abroad with many signs, wonders and miracles.
John’s wife, Catherine, and their three children are vital to this ministry as they comprise a team molded by the Master to set free every man, woman and child from whatever spiritual, physical or emotional bondage is enslaving them. Jesus Christ is Lord!
Evangelist Svein Nymo
“In mysterious and wonderful ways the Lord has opened doors and ways to many countries where I have witnessed the grace and power of our God unto salvation, healing and restoration of people in need.”
Evangelist Nymo from Sweden, founder of Guds Hausfolk (God's Household Ministry), has been used by the Lord to gather a harvest of many souls into the Kingdom. Born May 25, 1938, Svein and his two siblings were raised in Northern Norway where his mother taught them faith in Jesus as our Savior and of the world and only hope.
At the age of eight he sensed the call of God through a dream where he saw Jesus take his hand and guide him. Another special vision in a dream came at age 21 where he saw himself in a white gown witnessing and felt strong forces battling for his life and future, a picture of his eventual role of Evangelist and the winding path he would walk nearly costing his life on several occasions. After serving in the military and a Jonah by- the-sea experience, he surrendered his life to Jesus, experienced the power of the WORD OF THE CROSS (1Cor 1:18) and was born again, baptized in water and baptized in the Holy Spirit. Shortly afterwards he had a powerful experience where he realized God had his hand over him and called him to service IN HIS KINGDOM.
He started traveling with older preachers holding revival meetings, then on to Bible school in Sweden. Afterwards continued as a traveling Evangelist in Scandinavia and on to Africa, and later traveled extensively internationally including the United States, with signs and wonders following. In 1980 during a three month mission course in Pasadena, California God impressed upon him the focus of obeying the Great Commission to reach the unreached people and people groups with the Gospel before “the last trumpet call” and the second coming of Jesus. This brought him further into serving IN THE KINGDOM and the Lord showing him in concrete ways the ripe harvest fields waiting for laborers of the Lord of the Harvest.
His Swedish wife, Eva, is a nurse and his devoted partner in faith, prayer and trusting for a mighty outpouring of the Spirit to gather in great harvests into God’s Eternal Kingdom before Jesus COMES.
The fields are white with HARVEST. We are preparing the way with prayer, FASTING, and coming together during 2008 to prepare our HEARTS to receive what God has divinely purposed for our Great Lakes Region.
