A 3-day revolutionary radical revival of repentance for the Midwest being held in Milwaukee, WI April 24 - 26, 2008 at the Wyndham Milwaukee Airport Hotel & Convention Center. An opportunity to gather together and cry out and repent and call forth for repentance in this Region and throughout America. This hope-for-revival is also for believers desiring a deeper heart, not just for souls but also for a more intimate relationship with Jesus Christ and gaining His heart for the spiritual awakening He desires for this Region.
In recent years it has been prophesied many times that Revival is coming to the Great Lakes Region in the US, and Milwaukee has been identified as a key Region where spiritual awakening can break through. To see this breakthrough God is NOW calling for Pastors, Leaders, Intercessors and all other believers being wooed by the Holy Spirit in Wisconsin and the other Midwestern states to come to Milwaukee and participate in this gathering of unity as part of the greater calling of the entire Body of Christ to prepare the Church for a mighty repentance leading to a divine visitation and awakening. We believe our gathering is part of the catalyst the Holy Spirit has called for where spiritual awakening can break through to bring another great awakening of historical proportion to America.
Even more specifically, there was a NOW word given by the Lord on April 27, 2007 to Prophetic Evangelist Svein Nymo from Sweden and Apostolic Pastor John Rajiah from India while they were ministering in Milwaukee during April 2007, that a revolutionary radical revival of repentance was coming to the Milwaukee Region and that the Church must prepare for it. Both felt strongly that they were to be a part of this revival. So for the next 11 days they sought the Lord and were given the name of the event, Midwest Harvest Gathering, to be held on April 24, 25 and 26, 2008. They were prompted to encourage Pastors, Elders, Leaders and Intercessors to pray and organize this Midwest Harvest Gathering of souls to help bring a revolutionary revival to the Great Lakes Region.
From that time forward, a small group of people in the Milwaukee area immediately responded and formed an Organizing Committee and held monthly meetings to fast, pray and plan for this event, issuing Minutes to an ever-growing mailing list of people inviting them to become involved. With only limited funding graciously provided by involved churches and individuals, our biggest challenge was where to hold this gathering within the following confines: 1) find a place we couldn’t afford; 2) reserve a room size we didn’t know; 3) at a location not yet determined but definitely somewhere in the Milwaukee area; 4) and by prayer and fasting and intercession depend upon the Holy Spirit to work everything out.
Only God knows what heavenly blessings will pour forth for those of you the Holy Spirit called and who willingly and sacrificially gave of themselves to intercede and became directly involved in this painful yet wonderful birthing process. There was intensive prayer and intercession for 10 months to learn specifically where the meeting would be held, and time was running out! Then it was on Monday, February 25, 2008 when the MHG Coordinator was specifically led by the Holy Spirit to call the Wyndham Milwaukee Airport Hotel and Convention Center to see if any meeting rooms were still available. Yes, indeed, they had only one room open for the April dates in question. It was their very lovely and very large 14,400 sq. ft. Exhibit Hall. It was because of praying and fasting by so many of you and our waiting upon the Lord for His timing these many months that we were able to receive this facility at a VERY special price that fit into our limited budget! We received the favor of God and man! Praise the Lord!
